I place one foot sturdily infront o‘ the other.
Keep on walking despite my wonder and awe.
The sky stretches, envelopes my periphery.
The stars like flowers on the black grass of infinity.
Keep on walking despite what I might think to see.
The trees lost their form, are mere shadows of themselves.
Their crookedycrooked fingers reaching for my bravery.
Keep on walking despite my anxiety.
The stories have me in their hold
Of lonely nights so bitter cold
Of lonely spirits, long-lost souls
They terrorise my own. Behold!
The dark road unfolds in the shine of my light.
I tremble, I fear, feel the surge of my fright.
But my home up ahead leads the way, it’s so bright.
So I keep on walking and pierce this forsaken night.
The stars like flowers on the black grass of infinity ….. Ich schmelze immer noch dahin
